EP 15: PRODUCTS
EP15: Products transcript (Draft)
Speaker1: [00:00:00] Welcome to Between Two Cheeks. Hello again. Hello again. We meet again, I am Stacy Heller. I am joined by Brit Kennedy of Sweeping Hair and Skin Lounge here in Issaquah, Washington. You are a master restitution. Yes. Who specializes in all things Brazilian's, your oncology trains. Yes. Well done. Look at me. I'm starting to get the hang of
Speaker2: [00:00:22] This after 13 hours. I don't worry about it. So we've been talking a lot about the treatments that you specifically provide, but also your team obstetrician's provides here. And we talk a lot about the products. We talked in previous episode about the vigil and you mentioned the patchy treatment and those products and you mentioned some other that are really professional products. That is why there are enhancements or add ons for your treatments. But there are some products that you can buy here in the
Speaker2: [00:01:00] Salon, set you up for success to
Speaker1: [00:01:02] Set us up for success. So we're going to talk about that. But we also
Speaker2: [00:01:05] Left them with the cliffhanger.
Speaker1: [00:01:07] Oh, yes. OK, so when last we spoke, we were talking about vegetables and I had a question about getting the Jazelle.
Speaker2: [00:01:16] I would love to bring the Vagisil back, but a lot of times when you see things now, they're just very cheesy. It's like a hardware store. I would love to do like Swarovski crystal body jewelry.
Speaker1: [00:01:30] Where is this now? Last time we discussed in China and we discussed the Volvo Velva. So where is this happening?
Speaker2: [00:01:40] We're going to have to go to the trust the Internet because we do not Vagisil here at swoopy parents get Loung yet
Speaker1: [00:01:48] Good growth mindset
Speaker2: [00:01:49] But what made me kind of think about it, too, is because it was funny. Justin and I have been together for over 15 years and as you know, I do my own Brazillian and he assists right with between the teeth. And all of a sudden after 15 years, he's like, maybe you should have a little Lanting, like maybe you should grow a little hair. And I said, no, thank you. But I was like, what if I surprised him? Or I should use those little you know, I like a little mustache,
Speaker1: [00:02:15] But that doesn't surprise you. But I would think, what if I traveled? That would be another area.
Speaker2: [00:02:21] But like something cute little hearts.
Speaker1: [00:02:25] I think that would be a J. Oh, my gosh. We're so off topic right now. But honestly, who cares? OK, so it's not something that you do here now.
Speaker2: [00:02:38] But we want to know where do you go to get Vagisil?
Speaker1: [00:02:40] Do you even do it? And I am assuming you don't use the Bedazzler, that thing that you used to be able to buy the Internet for three easy installments. That feels painful. Don't do that at a bedazzle. And a Vagisil are not the same thing.
Speaker2: [00:02:53] When it was a huge trend, everyone was doing it and then it just kind
Speaker1: [00:02:57] Of everyone on to the sunset. Yeah, well,
Speaker2: [00:03:01] They'll have to do more research. Let's talk about that in the future. We'll talk about that.
Speaker1: [00:03:04] So let's get back to what we're actually supposed to be talking about, which is products
Speaker2: [00:03:09] To set you up for success.
Speaker1: [00:03:11] Yes. From the moment even
Speaker2: [00:03:13] Before you walk into the hair salon and spa.
Speaker1: [00:03:16] Oh, yeah. Because some of us are going to be having a treatment and we need to be prepared. So, so far on my list of things that I need to be paired with is ibuprofen. Mm hmm. Apparently, according to Josh, like a full outfit, like a lucky Luthe bottle. I'm going to wear boxer shorts, I'm going to get some boxer shorts, and I'm going to wear them. And I'm going to wear like a big old t shirt so that I can sweat because you sweat. Remember, go listen to a previous episode and you hear about how you sweat. So there's that. And I can take my ibuprofen two to three an hour before and then televisión
Speaker2: [00:03:58] Thirty to forty five minutes
Speaker1: [00:04:00] Before. OK, ok, ok. I may do this right now. So then you talk about the, the numbing stuff and the.
Speaker2: [00:04:09] It's ok. So, so from relax and wax. OK, you know which one. Let's get the pump out of here. This one. Yep. So that is your relax relax. And we have an MRI as well to set you up for success or because it's important that it goes on and remains thick. You don't rub it in like you do a typical moisturizer. Oh. So I'm going to send you home with one of these lovely kits I called on the fly. Ah, relax and wax kit. So it has your nose cream cream. There's the instruction card that I told you about. Then you put on these lovely boy short. Oh, and its logo with a little relax relax, which is super cute. And then for post you'll be set up with the get the bump out of here, which is this is why I remember that Sophie's favorite product, our clients. Absolutely. I love
Speaker1: [00:04:58] It. Listen to the episode. Any port in a storm, and so he talks about this. Yes, OK, so and we're also going to have these listed on the website so you can go to between two cheek's dotcom and they will be pictures and you'll be able to purchase them. But you can also come into the salon and say, hey, and you could get them. So. OK, now talk to me about these little doohickeys, which just look adorable.
Speaker2: [00:05:25] So that is a little facial buff. Fire buff. All right. And you actually did your research on Vibha because I told you how much I love that company.
Speaker1: [00:05:32] I did. OK, so. And then eight in the US.
Speaker2: [00:05:36] Yes, darling. Couple out of Ohio. I'm going to read all now. They actually hand tie, so they're all made to order. And what I love about them as well is that you're able to watch the buff and I just let it air dry. So I always constantly make sure that my hair is pulled out because I can kind of get wound up in there. And then I put it in a laundry bag just because it is coarse. Yep. So that way it doesn't stick to other things. They just pull out and let it air dry. But I've had to
Speaker1: [00:06:04] Wash in the washing machine. Yes. You know, I mean,
Speaker2: [00:06:07] You can hand wash it as well, but I do wash it in the washing machine. And after air dries, I've had in mind my current one or 10 or 11 months now. So for that thirteen dollars, they lost a lot.
Speaker1: [00:06:20] That's great. OK, so this one's a little harbor, the bacteria size. Yeah.
Speaker2: [00:06:24] So this is the one that we recommend. So either the blue and white or the pink and
Speaker1: [00:06:28] White is there a
Speaker2: [00:06:29] Pink and blue are the same. So on the back if you see kind of gives you a color coding. So the pink says Dries gets a moderate exfoliation for ingrown hairs, keratosis, pylorus and also known as KTP. And for people that are waxing. And then the very dry skin, the clinical portion, I don't use this. I use this. I like my elbows, my heels, my tops of my feet and my ingrown area, because that's a clinical exfoliation. Like, it's pretty it's pretty gritty. OK, yeah, it works amazingly well.
Speaker1: [00:06:57] So you do this before you get
Speaker2: [00:07:00] You would be. Yes, you could do it before to prep because you want to exfoliate before you get it done and hydrate and moisturize. But this is what you can use for a manual exfoliation post Brazillian to help keep the girls at bay. OK, this is a manual exfoliant. But some people choose to do the chemical exfoliant of the good, the bad, and it's a non burning formula. But I
Speaker1: [00:07:24] Think Sophie has shared that she has supersensitive skin
Speaker2: [00:07:27] And she uses to get the bump out of here.
Speaker1: [00:07:29] But but my point being that this could be like rough on her skin, whereas I
Speaker2: [00:07:34] Think she'd like the buff. I just think that she likes the ease of the bad hair.
Speaker1: [00:07:37] This young not to be young. I don't mean to be
Speaker2: [00:07:41] Ageist, but they get the bump out of here. You can use it with laser hair removal. You can use it with shaving. You can use I mean, it has just multiple uses as menthol and campus are very calming and soothing and it has a salicylic access. We know that has ability to kind of get into that poor control environment. So you just have different options. And this one's made in the USA as well that.
Speaker1: [00:08:02] Ok, so I need to share with folks about Vibha. Oh, I love them so much. Yeah. So get this portion of every sale helps save a child from human trafficking. How amazing is that. So they do this thing where they, they partner with remember new to provide housing amenities and vocational training for children at risk of human trafficking. And it's pretty amazing. And it's patented. It's dermatologist's, tested, as you said, it's American made. And that's pretty
Speaker2: [00:08:37] Amazing. Good about sharing their stories if you follow them on Instagram.
Speaker1: [00:08:41] Yeah.
Speaker2: [00:08:41] All the wonderful things that they're doing. So it's amazing to partner with a company. Well, in
Speaker1: [00:08:46] Between two Cheek's follows that on Instagram. So if you go to our Instagram page, then you'll be able to see their Instagram page. Yes. You know, you had that deep stalking where you check out, like, who people are following because it's a thing, OK, you have a few other products here. We do.
Speaker2: [00:09:02] So as you know, we use Tamara's professional body sugaring because she is here in Washington state and woman owned business. So if you don't want to do if you want to go a more natural route or you don't want to have a role on, these are on the go exfoliating pads. So there are 50 pads in here. But the trick is I cut them in half. So it gives you a hundred uses because the vulva is not a ton of surface area because
Speaker1: [00:09:30] You're not exfoliating your volo, it's your vulva, which is much smaller.
Speaker2: [00:09:35] So these are ninety three percent natural and it does have like the sugar cane, it has all the ingredients. Alvira which Heysel bilberry that bilberry is actually in that Renu you and we talked about in the peach treatment the botanicals, but it has sugar maple which is very common because that is going to help with explosion. So on the go exfoliator properties into your gym bag. So when you sweat, if you're not able to get out of your sweaty clothes right away. You can either roll or just swipe with the pad. So those are fantastic. Wow.
Speaker1: [00:10:05] Mm hmm. No, I mostly say wow without the exercising
Speaker2: [00:10:09] And then this one you can read, but
Speaker1: [00:10:11] This one is a soothing, calming and deeply nourishing treatment for irritated skin. It is actually a repairpal.
Speaker2: [00:10:17] Yes. With daemonic oil. So I actually got to learn about Thom oil when I attended my oncology ascetics course because you used oil to treat radiation burns when people are undergoing cancer treatment. So the powerful oil that helps nourish and repair. And still,
Speaker1: [00:10:34] Gentzel, because obviously and it's
Speaker2: [00:10:37] Definitely kind of earthy, it has all of those. And I wish that one was open. I sort have brought the ones in mid-October. But if anyone has any chafing or irritation, then we will apply this after their service. OK, so let's talk.
Speaker1: [00:10:49] Can you use this for like let's say chub chub chafing. Let's say you're fat between your thighs.
Speaker2: [00:11:02] Ok, so this will work. But I haven't I have another problem. You do. I do. That people use all the time. So this is from the wax chick. We mentioned cricket in a episode. This is called Wonder Whip and it truly is a wonder. So it's a hydrating bomb that fights and groans. But when people pre treat the area, it basically kind of goes the barrier. So it absorbs beautifully. It doesn't leave a greasy film. OK, so if they have that condition that you just mentioned, you use your wonder whip before you come in for your Brazilian butt and you use it continuously.
Speaker1: [00:11:40] Ok, because I was going to say, like, I'm asking for a friend, like, let's say you're like going through wine country and you're in a really cute, like skirt and it's hot and your legs are rubbing together because your thighs touch again. It's a friend of mine, Dori, and it's totally me. And you can get chafing there. Yeah, I think
Speaker2: [00:12:04] You should you should try to wonder what a little of this goes along with. And I love it because the vegan, organic and cruelty free and this little container lasts a very long time. So you should use it and then let me know what you think. OK, I think it's going to be fantastic.
Speaker1: [00:12:19] I mean, what's not cruelty free is getting chafing to begin with. So just a you know, we try to keep it real here with between two cheeks and that is the thing. And having something that you can use for chafing. But it is also good for other things. I mean, multiuse products are the way to go. And I love that the products that you the companies that you partner with, you really try to go American made where you can you try to go as much like all natural as you can. You try to really support cruelty free women owned businesses. I think that's huge.
Speaker2: [00:12:55] Thanks. We do our research, but the tomato oil is great. I use it. I've been getting contact dermatitis just from wearing gloves, washing my hands while the hand sanitizer. So I play the tomato repair mom every single night. It's great for cuts and scrapes and bug bites and all that kind of stuff too.
Speaker1: [00:13:10] Like cat stuff too.
Speaker2: [00:13:12] Just a little dab. Wow. OK, amazing. All right.
Speaker1: [00:13:16] So these are products that you sell here. Yes. So if people want to come in to sweep here and get Loung in Asakawa, then you can come in and you can get the products, you can buy them at the same time that you have already booked your treatment. So you might as well just pick it up. Or even if you get a treatment somewhere else and you can't find the product, you can still come in. I still welcome you.
Speaker2: [00:13:38] But if they don't happen to live here,
Speaker1: [00:13:40] Then you can go to the website again, go to adopt between two Cheat's. Com and you'll be able to find the products will have them listed and you can will connect you with where you can get them. And, and if you have questions or if you have other products that you think are amazing, then share comment on our Instagram between two cheek's comment on our Facebook between two cheeks and shoot. Send us an email and send email to wake at between two cheek's dotcom because you know, wink wink, listen to a previous episode, you'll know what we're referring to. And you know, just a little
Speaker2: [00:14:22] Girl has a little wink.
Speaker1: [00:14:24] It totally goes away because this is all like an inside thing. I can't wink, actually. Did you know that I have to
Speaker2: [00:14:30] Do like like looking for you?
Speaker1: [00:14:33] It's totally awkward. So make sure that you follow us on the social media. Make sure you subscribe to the podcast. Make sure you check out the YouTube channel because we're talking about all these products, but you can't see them, which means that you're missing out on my amazing influence or
Speaker2: [00:14:47] Form and you're missing out on Stacy accessorizing. Every time I show up
Speaker1: [00:14:53] When I love her the best. You you just keeping it fun, though. Thank you so much for listing. And hopefully you learned something I know, I always do,
Speaker2: [00:15:03] And I'm looking forward to our next episode.
Speaker1: [00:15:05] Yeah, me too. Yay!
Speaker2: [00:15:09] Oh yeah. We have a couple more. And then you're the finale.
Speaker1: [00:15:14] I am sort of the finale. Yep. I am the if everyone's joke. So on that note, thanks again for listening and we will see you next time. Yes, bye.

EP16: Va-JAY-cial TRANSCRIPT (Draft)
Speaker1: [00:00:00] Hello, welcome back to you between two cheeks, I am Stacy Heller, I am joined, as always, by Brooke Kennedy,
Speaker2: [00:00:08] Hair and Skin Lounge. I'm also Master Esthetician, trained in oncology esthetics and a Brazilian sugaring specialist.
Speaker1: [00:00:15] So, as per usual, we are recording at the beautiful sweet pea here and lounge here in Washington. And today we're learning about a topic that I didn't know was a thing, but really that pretty much pretty much covers every episode that we've done thus far. I have learned something today. We're talking about vegetables. Yeah. Yeah, that's right. You heard it here. So I had no idea what it was.
Speaker2: [00:00:47] I tell them what you thought it was.
Speaker1: [00:00:48] I thought it was if somebody comes on your face. Yeah. Which doesn't really make sense because it's the wrong parts and everything. But for some reason that's just came to mind. It it did. I don't know. I know. But China and fascial, like it just
Speaker2: [00:01:10] Seemed like if you really can't do a facial on your vagina, that's why the name of the Jaiswal is funny, right? Because it's a treatment that usually is a dressing, ingrown hairs. And we are treating the vulva. Dana referred to the Shagan.
Speaker1: [00:01:29] Yes, because, again, we don't we didn't cover this, we didn't cover this. We take it and we don't want your vulval with your vulval. OK, so according to Urban Dictionary, the Volda is the most beautiful, delicious thing in the world. More commonly known as the pussy, the vulva is the external part of the pussy, constantly misidentified as the vagina, which is the inside parts. So here's the using it in a sentence parts. It's amazing how many people are so uneducated and referred to the vulva as a vagina idiots and that in truth,
Speaker2: [00:02:12] That's why on our menu it is called an ingrown hair treatment, or we call it the peach treatment. I love that you've always had the peach candies are fantastic because relax and wax makes a three step process for us professionals. So we'll go into what is included in a vaginal. But it's going to be different depending on where you go. So it is going to be exfoliating. It is going to be increasing that cellular turnover because you're addressing ingrown hairs, which we've already discussed, that can be from shaving or razor bumps or yoga or pants or friction or doing everything. They're not supposed to do that. We've already discussed agreed on a bike ride. Yeah, there are many reasons that can cause and groans. So you would not get a vaginal the date of a Brazilian, you would get a vaginal like a week or two afterwards because you want the hairs to be coming through, because that's what we're going to help, because some people with the curly hair, they just don't push that easily. So when you're, you know, damaging that follicle and it's pushing through, it's a lot more fine and weak. So sometimes that's when it grows back into the skin and lace underwear is a huge culprit. So an in treatment is pretty fantastic and people
Speaker1: [00:03:30] And
Speaker2: [00:03:31] Enjoy the results.
Speaker1: [00:03:33] How do you know that you need a treatment
Speaker2: [00:03:38] If you have ingrown hair, but you would know because they would be raised bumpe irritated, inflamed, sometimes a little bit of pus or Whiteheads, which we call closed cooldowns anesthetics, but that's say Whitehead.
Speaker1: [00:03:53] So there's another reason why cotton granny pants are absolutely we still need to come up with our underwear like super, super sexy, by the way. I mean, you could, like, pull them up if you wanted it to be like a thong. It's fine now that I've done that. But things that you
Speaker2: [00:04:12] Can do, day of treatment, we have other options as well. So we have a ten minute mask that is called by Bumpe. So this is, say, Brazil, and it's amazing.
Speaker1: [00:04:24] Ok, and so it is for, again, people. Oh, that's another color, but it has clay in it,
Speaker2: [00:04:32] Ok, which detoxifies posting's to the surface. And this is for the whole Veera. Yes. Yes. So they get the Brazilian done. If we know that the growns we and this would be an enhancement to their service. OK, so it has six percent lactic acid, six percent salicylic, it has Oliviera. It's amazing. So people swear by it. I have clients. I get this every single time the product and groans and when they have to quit because I have one client right now, she's pregnant, so she's no longer able to get her mask and she goes, it does make a huge difference and I can visually see that as well. So this is ten dollars, ten minutes. Great little enhancement to this day of.
Speaker1: [00:05:08] Also have and it happens after. Yes, I mean, is it, like smooth as well, like soothes the savage beast?
Speaker2: [00:05:14] It's bringing everything up to the surface like it doesn't burn. OK, which is nice. Just being preventative.
Speaker1: [00:05:22] Ok, so it's not like a metaphorical like cigaret after relaxing
Speaker2: [00:05:31] Because the pain is done and then we brush on the mask and then we cover the area and I dim the lights. They've already selected their music and I give them 10 minutes apiece. So of course, you know, mothers love that.
Speaker1: [00:05:43] Oh my gosh, there is pain literally. It's called Five Minutes piece. And it's an amazing book that I used to read to my kids all the time. And in the end, she got like a minute and forty one seconds piece, not about Kaplan. So here you get ten minutes, which is worth, as I say, it's great. Ten dollars, which is worth it. I mean a dollar a minute alow and growns.
Speaker2: [00:06:04] There's a lot of establishments that will offer that which is great. And then we also when you talk about the calming and soothing you'll see all over the Internet now. So if you kind of check it out, you'll see hydrogel Mark Stay. And so this one is common to see. So if you know that you already have kind of irritated skin or you are an athlete or you are prone to ingrown hair, you get the chafing and whatnot, you can put this on. So it's instant relief and blemish reduction. So it's a powder that we mix up. It goes, it hardens and then you peel it off. So if you check out hydrogel online and it was Max, it's pretty great.
Speaker1: [00:06:37] Is this just for the area?
Speaker2: [00:06:40] Ok, but we can do a post brow waxing. So if you know that people get you know, how we are using all natural beeswax, ours comes down. Yeah. Pretty pretty quickly. Out pretty quickly. I love it. But there are other cases where if they're red, you can do the hydrogel mascara on the eyebrows too. So is that also an enhancement for. Yes. So kind of hands and you can do that day of OK as well. So you could do that any time now.
Speaker1: [00:07:05] Ok, so that is four days of treatments that you can do enhanced enhancement enhancements. I like how they're called enhancements as opposed to like add on, add on or like impulse purchase and you can't really do it at the counter. Then this is the one that is what you use for all the facial treatments, which is ours.
Speaker2: [00:07:27] Like I said, it can differ depending on where you go. But we have this is the peach clean, so that's a lactic acid cleanser. The lactic acid outside of the acid brings water levels to the surface, but it also increases cellular turnover. So we're going to use the Biotherapeutics sonic. So think of like a sonic cleansing toothbrush, but not to be confused with the vibrator,
Speaker1: [00:07:47] Which I swear, I think people use the Soneji versus a vibrator. It's not recommended.
Speaker2: [00:07:53] Fine, don't worry about it. But we use this and then we cleanse it off. We have some sustainable bamboo. They're called towel. So they're four by four esthetic types that we remove that because, you know, I love
Speaker1: [00:08:06] I can only think of bamboo is like the like the reeds of bamboo. What am I like? That doesn't feel very soft. I know they can do a lot with iron.
Speaker2: [00:08:15] It's incredible. So then we put on that one.
Speaker1: [00:08:19] My name is Mud. Yes.
Speaker2: [00:08:21] So that is fantastic. It has a drawing compound in it. So it's going to help bring the growns to the surface has clays that's going to detoxify. It has black and green light which come from the algae. So it's just very it can calm, it can soothe the drying compound. It's also going to detoxify. So that makes a perfect precursor for extractions. Do you remember what extractions are?
Speaker1: [00:08:48] There is the things that you're going in deep?
Speaker2: [00:08:53] Yes. So we remove that with a hot compress and then we're going to attack the area, pull up a little pairs. We have tweezers if it needs
Speaker1: [00:09:00] To stay that way.
Speaker2: [00:09:01] Look at that like minutes. This is a ten
Speaker1: [00:09:03] Minute mark, but it's like
Speaker2: [00:09:06] It's pretty incredible. Wow. What do you remove it? You can kind of see things that come to the surface.
Speaker1: [00:09:10] That's amazing.
Speaker2: [00:09:11] So we perform our extractions, release those little pesky Ingrams, and then I use high frequency sets, a tool that's not out here. So it's Tesla current. We do a sparking method. It's argon gas. It goes on is germicide oil. So that's all you need to know. It sounds like
Speaker1: [00:09:27]
Speaker2: [00:09:28] Over. I'll have to bring that in the future when we talk about tools and devices, because that was a fun one. It's like our favorite tool in the toolbox restitutions.
Speaker1: [00:09:37] It's like I don't know that I think you'll have to get an ingrown treatment. Oh, great. So excited babies first.
Speaker2: [00:09:47] But then we finish
Speaker1: [00:09:51] With the redo. You hydrating cell renewal, moisturizer botanicals.
Speaker2: [00:09:57] So again, the whole treatment is about increasing that cellular turnover. Does it smell like this is very pretty.
Speaker1: [00:10:04] Just peachy.
Speaker2: [00:10:06] Just peachy. So that. We finished with that, so we book out 30 minutes for that treatment, OK? Mm hmm. And it's fantastic.
Speaker1: [00:10:14] Now, the bug zapper,
Speaker2: [00:10:16] The high frequency device that
Speaker1: [00:10:19] Does that hurt? No, I mean,
Speaker2: [00:10:22] On the forehead and the eyebrows are a little bit more intense on the vulva because it's thicker skin. It's not too bad. You'll be able to tell them all about it. We're going to do this.
Speaker1: [00:10:30] This is so great. It is going to be in season two because I don't know if I can take much more than one.
Speaker2: [00:10:39] Yes. Season two could be perfect because you have to wait a couple of weeks.
Speaker1: [00:10:42] Oh, perfect.
Speaker2: [00:10:44] So then you can tell them all about your magical experience. Like I said, it differs depending on where you go. So this is our protocol and our treatment. OK, some people are going to use steam. OK, we don't because these products do, such as they
Speaker1: [00:10:56] Do the same thing
Speaker2: [00:10:57] In the drawing, combat steam just opens up the poor to kind of help facilitate the extra extraction. But these products are fantastic. So other places will include different types of mass. They might have the steam. So it's going to be sometimes they might be a 50 minute treatment or whatever.
Speaker1: [00:11:11] So but but it is typically called a vegetable.
Speaker2: [00:11:14] It is typically called just know that mine's ingrown hair treatment, the treatment, OK, because. I'm not doing a facial on your vagina. It's not
Speaker1: [00:11:23] Possible. No, because that's inside, folks, correct? Right. Your Volta's on the outside like your vulva is on the outside of your head. See how we make those connections on one of
Speaker2: [00:11:37] The professionals as well, though. Remember how we talked about when people don't disclose medications, you can kind of get skin lifting. And if they don't know if they're using retinal is in their eye cream or if they're on acne top goals or whatnot, this is another Savir. So it's called ouch. So if there is any skin lifting anywhere on the body, we apply this immediately. So the outrebounded and then we send them home with a little bit as well. And they just have to keep the area.
Speaker1: [00:12:01] That's great, because sometimes you don't know if your products have those kinds of things, like, I don't know what I don't know.
Speaker2: [00:12:06] And this is 100 percent natural. It's incredible. And again, as I say, Brazil product the same as the Bible.
Speaker1: [00:12:12] Ok, OK. Now, before we end up here, is this a product that you can buy and use on your own, or is it really something that you're using as a professional?
Speaker2: [00:12:23] Relax and wax as who makes it and they do
Speaker1: [00:12:26] Ok to kill it. Got it. So we can maybe put that on our website. Yeah. WDW dots between two cheeks, dot com. We're going to be listing products that Brooke uses in all of these treatments and they'll be links so that you can follow and know what she's talking about and perhaps purchase them yourself. OK, I just really want to cover for Jazelle not to be confused with Vagisil
Speaker2: [00:12:52] And I think the next episode because we have so much fun that I think it's close.
Speaker1: [00:12:58] That's why it's called a cliffhanger. So we're just going to keep you wanting more. OK, well thank you for explaining what that is. Urban Dictionary not sponsored but very informative. Always, always. So keep listening. Definitely watch our videos on YouTube as well, because then you can see what's happening because that's important. And make sure that you subscribe, that you're commenting, that you're sharing your stories and maybe let us know what it's called wherever you go to get this done. Fun, right? I'd be curious. I feel like that's like a fun thing to play with. And we are on Facebook. We are on Instagram, as I said, YouTube. We've got the website between two cheek's dotcom. And there is, believe it or not, more to talk about with this. So keep listening and we will see you next time. Thank you.
EP 17: Perspectacles on the Spectacle
EP 17: PERSPECTACLES ON THE SPECTACLE TRANSCRIPT (DRAFT)
[00:00:00] We'll welcome back to you Between Two Cheeks, I'm Stacy Heller. I enjoyed, as always, Brooke Kennedy. Pullo, tell the people who you are if they have not been paying attention. I am the owner of Suite B Hair and Skin Lounge in Issaquah, Washington. I am also a master esthetician, Brazilian sugaring specialist and oncology trained as well. I know you're amazed, right? I mean, I would swear that you should be there, so I feel even more special. And here they are closer and closer and they just couldn't wait for the introduction. You had to just start going. So the party is here because the party. Well, so is it a previous episode? We had Danielle and we had Sophie and they were the like any port in a storm, whatever 20 somethings. Now you have what happens, but you just don't care anymore. But you do care about what happens here because you got to clean it up. I mean, you care, but you don't care what you say. You're unfiltered. I don't care who's looking. I mean, it's for yourself to do it for yourself. No, believe me, no one else is looking down here. I do it for me, Brooke, is every six weeks or so and that's right, stretching, pulling, tugging. I'm worried about that part. I got to tell you, I don't think I've come up with an invention that we're compelled to tell you about it offline. I want everybody to know. It also is an important topic. Yes. Kind of actually.
[00:01:36] Great insight into how contorts. I think really it's not a ball. No, that wouldn't be good, because you got to, like, pull it up and overexploit it out. Right. So it's a that's what you. Yes. You are in good company because I believe I've given these to their first Brazilian's. You did when you were 18. Know for me I'm fifty six for me. And you're here to tell the tale. We feel better. We are. We live closer. Rella actually has them at home relaxing yet. So she was able to escape. Yes. I just did the full monty. Yeah. Yeah. I was completely fine with that. I am, I'm not a I'm, I don't need deforestation like my best friend over here. I just I kept everything slightly quaffed, well kept maintain and I thought it was coming in for a little touchup cleanup by professional and. She booked a bikini wax, so I explained to her what I would be doing and she said, no, I want it all gone. And I said, Oh, so you want a Brazilian? And she goes, Sure. So then I explain to you what a Brazilian was. I wish I would have looked at the term ahead of time because I didn't realize it included like everything, including the anus. So when he says to me, not only do you want to see my fine China, but you want to see my anus, too. I wasn't prepared for that. I mean, you only get out to buy in China.
[00:03:12] China's special people. Well, exactly. Now, Brooke, it's among my special people. She said to me in so many more positions, positions than I've ever, ever thought. Well, and for me, what I was doing is for years I would straddle the toilet. I would get out the scissors and go down and just cut. And then when I was 50, I cut the clit. And so that was enough for me for that to happen. Oh, that happens. And if you look at people and you start screaming at your husband, who is now thinking of all kinds of things that are not going to happen for a while. How is it his fault not doing it? Because the clit was cut and waited. And then I talked to Brooke and I said, I think I need to come in. I don't care. Do you put a bad deal with it? You just do it like the Thom is at your house. Holdfast. Alumni for her. Yeah. Wow. Right over this thing, we decided that it was really it was like three years ago. Yeah. When I turned 50, that good stuff happened and I decided I couldn't do that anymore. No. And my favorite time with three seconds of earth time did resilience. And she's like a sister. Hate to see what Stacy says coming up. In a way, I know that makes four of us, six of us a you including Stacy. People keep telling you 50 bucks you can stay at my place that. Yeah.
[00:05:01] So, I mean, what do you think? I mean, after all the years of doing it yourself, it's so much easier. So much like. Once they get past the awkwardness because it was awkward, because I had to pull and pull out by the time. So awful. But afterwards, I have to say, it was lovely, soft and smooth and lovely, and my my husband was the first time with you. It was like a year ago. A year ago. My husband has yet to notice. Oh, OK. What things? Are you happy? He's happy. He's got a full, like, clear shower. I mean, we're showering. I shower you whatever. He's yet to even notice and I do it for me and it's soft and smooth and sweet and clean and neat. And I wasn't I didn't need, like, huge deforestation, like, a lot. It's just it's definitely a for me topic. I think. I love that. Yes, I may or may not have flushed my husband because today and after. Yeah. And I was lame and he was like, OK, bye daddy. We got to keep it in the dark. Know for me when brooking's like here you need to pull and do this. And my sister, I'm Catholic. We don't touch. What am I doing. Yeah. Yeah you're going to hell. You don't touch yourself if you're not coming out. And then when I'm like she's like, OK, now we're going to go ahead and we're going to get it in your rear. And I'm like my rear.
[00:06:51] There's no hair in my rear. And she's like, yes, everyone is here. And with Brookner you get the full definition of what's going on. So of course I was like, OK, so then when I got home, I immediately got in my husband's face and I said, is there hair down there? And he's like, Well, I don't know what you want me to. It's all good truth, blah, blah, blah. I was what it was. Wow. Yeah. What did your husband also give you the sex talk so badly that the other clip to stuff. Oh wow. I didn't know where to go from here and I'm a little jealous. They could have like a little pre cocktail and I cannot be the same. Oh we can later. What are what are the things that you do. You do the classic take a few ibuprofen beforehand. No, I just show up. Chris, you do. You're such a badass, she's her boss. She is the first time I ever spent time with her. No. Oh, there are no yourself. She said no. I said, oh, I didn't know we could bring so much. And you'll be screaming, Jesus, when you let me tell you like this are very low. Overall, it was very quiet. I was done. I was stunned. And then to think the we find Chinese Doublemint all the way back and then mightiness, I just wasn't there for my anus like that which works like. Does it hurt? No, actually, this is fine. I think the Frenchness is not as fun to play pool and play the violin.
[00:08:52] I try not to lie. I feel like my hands are going to slip from the sweat know. You're not even thinking straight, we tell people to put it there so you can wipe your hands. Really? Oh, I didn't know that. See, we learned something else. See, do learn things in between you. Just the heart. The brain is just that little thing is for sure. We're just like it just comes like, look around this going right. The labia right above that cubicle. The worst you pain. But it is it is so worth it for you to just have the smoothest, sweetest little kitty. You're starting to believe it. It's lovely. And it's all your own right. You have to share that with anybody. It's your own. I heard it here. What other things do you think that we need to tell your husband notice? He did. And now every time I come here, because I come here a lot to see what it's like. So what are you getting for me? Had just make sure the money in the account and. Do it for yourself. Yeah, totally. It is very nice because, you know, I was coming, you know, doing all the stuff in the 80s, right. That's how old I am. So I was shaving and all of the itching afterwards was horrendous. And so when I thought work was going to rip it, that was what I had still in my head, you know, 40 some years later that I'm going to be walking around, you know, being very uncomplicate, as you can do to do.
[00:10:27] And it didn't happen at all. That was my biggest surprise. OK, so that's good to know. You know, I think the grog is fine. There's no itching, like with shaving Lightford. And so I used to shave all the time and had terrible itching and burning and like little red bumps or whatever. I've never had that since I started waxing. Never. It was good to know. Yeah, no. And then all the things you can do too, because you know, like I have some friends, you still have it and they're like, oh if you get it all taken off you're going to look like you're prepubescent and all that stuff. I'm like no, no, no. And now you can just, you know, oh, I want to strip all the stuff. And she has names for everything. So when she comes in, she's like, what are we going to do today? And I'm like, just take it. You know, this is just one part of you can look up, you go like there's no other part that's not. I make ends meet. There's no I your face here that, you know, to something I can't decide have done better about this or more depressed. Now you're telling me you have daughters. So who are you to do your daughters now that you do this? Do they do it? Would you encourage it from a young age? So I did bring my oldest daughter and just to get her lower leg waxed and she cried.
[00:11:48] And when we got in the car, she told me she will never come back. Sorry, but she's done this. But, you know, I don't think so. Yeah, she was like 12, so I talked to her about it. So, you know, it's my daughter. It's similar to myself and that she doesn't need like a full on deforestation. If she wanted to do something for herself, like a simple I don't know, I was trimming. She probably could. She's not noticed me and I don't need it Bushwhacker because I am quite light lately. So I don't know why. I know I like her. I know. And so it's my daughter. She has she's slightly hurt and so I feel like it. But you see me and she's not noticed or said anything so. OK, here you go. Because what would you say. Wow, mom goes in China, you got a plane clean just so right now, she'd say here you have about China. What happened to your China? China, mom? Question for them. Would you come in and get a service together in the same room, go back to us at the same time? Well, yes, I'm in up on all fours on the table. You do not need to see here, though. I know how clever I am, so let me know what I want to see so that no, I have not posted on my own.
[00:13:27] I know that you try to into scrabbles. How do I know I'm good. I'm good. So as I said, you may not have heard over the cackling consent is key. It is twenty twenty one. You have your consent. So come on. This has been you must you just you. All right. So really the point of this episode is that you two can have fun with your friends getting a position and sleeping and it's too much. So if you want to follow along on further adventures, then continue to listen to the podcast. You can also watch the YouTube channel between two geeks. Also, you can comment on social media or on Instagram or on Facebook, and you can go to the website, which is w w w does between two cheeks dot com. So do you have any questions or comments? Let us know. Would you do this with the French inquiring minds on it. Yeah. Don't come. I would go. Yeah. I mean really that is to take that idea. So they're. I say, oh, I like my work. Oh, thank you for the merch idea. So I go out there and mozzarella. Thank you so much. You OK? You very well say you're after products really do work. I mean, I'm sorry for The Career Cue for you. But you really to work there? Well, I've never once like rumbly, but please and thank you for putting them on my website. All right. There was no way to the camera by itself coming out. You by.
EP 18: BRAZILIAN-CURIOUS STACY PUTS UP OR SHUTS UP
EP18: Brazilian Curious Stacy Puts Up and Shuts up TRANSCRIPT (Draft)
Speaker1: [00:00:00] It's weird not to have music, so I usually have music, but you and I are just going to talk the whole time. La la, la, la. Remember clients you get to in future guests. Yeah. You get to choose your own music.
Speaker2: [00:00:09] Yeah, I got nothing but tell them
Speaker1: [00:00:10] What you did. You created. Amazing.
Speaker2: [00:00:12] I created a playlist on Spotify that is open to the public and all kinds of calls between gigs, all kinds of songs that I thought would be good like can't touch this. I literally put on the Oklahoma thing, although here's what I learned about that song. It takes really, really long for the part that says Oklahoma like to.
Speaker1: [00:00:36] So what I want you to do is put your soles of your feet together with your knees out and yoga. FROGH pose cleanse the area, OK? She is now baring all.
Speaker2: [00:00:47] How is it your hair?
Speaker3: [00:00:53] Do you think I've been joking?
Speaker2: [00:00:59] However, carpet matches the drapes.
Speaker1: [00:01:02] So we're going to do the hard part first. So I'm going to apply the wax on the labia area. And what I want you to do is take two hands. Just hold out here for me as I apply this hard wax I love it is a charcoal hard wax from wax this. OK, we've got a lot of great flex. Then it's going to feel warm. Yeah. So you're holding very tight for me, holding very tight. You can tell them what it feels like when it goes on. Ready. Uh, it feels nice and warm. That's only going to end, though, so I'm going to paint both sides
Speaker2: [00:01:48] Totally for everything. Mm hmm. This feels like a calm before the storm, right? Yes, and I knew that
Speaker1: [00:01:58] I was going to dip it into a hot tub,
Speaker3: [00:02:02] A hot
Speaker2: [00:02:02] Tub full of pink or something. What kind of things are you in? He. Oh, the heat. Yeah. Hot tubs are full of germs.
Speaker1: [00:02:11] No hot tubs post the service. You learned all about the post care.
Speaker2: [00:02:16] Yes, I did.
Speaker1: [00:02:18] Now tell them. Are you sweating?
Speaker2: [00:02:20] I am sweatin
Speaker1: [00:02:21] Because you are nervous, right?
Speaker2: [00:02:24] Oh, totally. Because I'm nervous. I'm playing pool, but like I'm also fifty one, so I'm probably having a
Speaker3: [00:02:29] Hot flash on top of
Speaker2: [00:02:31] That. She's putting hot wax down. I'm in China. No wait. Not my vagina lady bit my lady Beth. So right now labia majora.
Speaker1: [00:02:39] Sure.
Speaker2: [00:02:40] Labia Majora the north star of the vaginal area. So yeah. So course sweating also like my friend is like seeing that. And there's an audience outside the door. Correct. I mean, wouldn't you be sweating also and having to hold my boobs. I got and I don't think that my. I don't think I could breathe. I think I'm
Speaker1: [00:03:05] Ready for this poll.
Speaker3: [00:03:06] Ok, let's do it. All right.
Speaker1: [00:03:07] Here we go. We go.
Speaker3: [00:03:09] Oh. Oh, my God. Oh, I haven't even started yet. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Somebody give me the OK.
Speaker1: [00:03:23] But now we are going to start so very important. Both hands right here. Right are ok. OK, here we go.
Speaker2: [00:03:29] Oh this is it. I do a little flick. OK. Yeah. Now we do
Speaker1: [00:03:34] Two short poles, maybe three.
Speaker3: [00:03:36] One says oh my God. Oh my God.
Speaker2: [00:03:49] I got to do the same thing.
Speaker3: [00:03:49] And mother trucker same thing. Good. But I
Speaker2: [00:03:55] Got about last we
Speaker3: [00:03:57] Pull up. Oh my
Speaker1: [00:04:01] Goodness. Your hydration is pretty good. Really. Yeah they're moving.
Speaker2: [00:04:05] Well not all that Diet Coke and
Speaker3: [00:04:09] I just it like like
Speaker2: [00:04:13] Ok. So now are we doing all of the hard.
Speaker1: [00:04:16] Ok, we're working through these layers. Oh OK.
Speaker3: [00:04:20] I told you I've never
Speaker1: [00:04:21] Done this before and you do have a little pin point bleeding which is totally fine. Oh blood supply. I followed the route out. I mean you can have really great results.
Speaker2: [00:04:32] I was that like it's going to rate when you get rain on your wedding day. It's OK.
Speaker1: [00:04:36] Great picture.
Speaker2: [00:04:37] So let's make you feel better about this really crappy situation.
Speaker1: [00:04:44] I'm excited you could experience both wax and sugar. So when you come in for maintenance, though. Yes. If you will only have sugar.
Speaker2: [00:04:52] Got it. So you'll see the samples because of the long hair. Because again, that's worked out long hair
Speaker1: [00:04:59] And I don't trim pubic hair. No, that's not your job. You're going to be looking at it. I don't want it all over my room.
Speaker3: [00:05:08] Oh my God.
Speaker2: [00:05:09] I have to brush it, like sweep it up like a hair dresser.
Speaker1: [00:05:13] You and I need to develop like little lady trimmers for people to prep. Yes, that actually is great on the Clippers.
Speaker2: [00:05:20] Ok, so clippers. But some people use scissors.
Speaker1: [00:05:23] Well, we learned from Hoser that she did.
Speaker2: [00:05:25] Yes, we did learn that she cut the clip out.
Speaker3: [00:05:29] Out. Oh. Proud of you for that one. Oh, God. Oh, better know if you're not my God. Is that. Oh my God. OK, this is a bad thing
Speaker1: [00:05:53] Worse than the sugar. Now it's just different. You're going to report it to them, OK?
Speaker3: [00:05:57] You're supposed to be nice.
Speaker2: [00:06:00] Like, yeah, it's much better now because I was waiting for the blood
Speaker3: [00:06:06] And the sweat and the true blood, sweat and tears
Speaker1: [00:06:14] To do one more poll right above the pubic bone because it's pretty dense right there. We're taking care of the horseshoe of pain, everyone. That's what I'm working on right now.
Speaker2: [00:06:23] But really tight horses are supposed to be lucky, right?
Speaker1: [00:06:28] Not your lucky day.
Speaker2: [00:06:29] I'm lucky. Why is it the first you've. Because it's. Oh, my God.
Speaker3: [00:06:34] That is going to. Oh. Oh, my goodness, guys, this.
Speaker1: [00:06:44] Smaller strips, though, not doing.
Speaker3: [00:06:48] Oh, oh, oh,
Speaker1: [00:06:51] Oh, gosh. Oh, my God,
Speaker3: [00:06:55] The
Speaker1: [00:06:55] Things that you do for
Speaker3: [00:06:56] Us, I
Speaker1: [00:07:00] Keep saying that the wax is taking a little bit longer. This because you're so warm.
Speaker2: [00:07:06] Get warm.
Speaker3: [00:07:08] My God.
Speaker1: [00:07:10] Oh, my. Good job. I want to take you here on camera.
Speaker3: [00:07:13] I don't know. Can you hear the phone camera? Oh, my God. No, no.
Speaker1: [00:07:20] I didn't really hurt that bad. No, I think she did that one for the camera,
Speaker3: [00:07:28] Just
Speaker2: [00:07:28] Like, oh, I caught my breath. OK, so if you come to us, sweetie, and you're in your room, probably next door to the chandelier, if you start to sweat and you're starting to feel like loosening up because you're freaked out, a little droplet like crystal, things start to look like conference spoons.
Speaker3: [00:07:52] You know
Speaker2: [00:07:53] The part in Dumbo where like who is it that gets drunk? And then there's this whole trippy scene. Know what I'm talking about, though, Dumbo that I read it. Oh, see the movie? It's a Disney movie.
Speaker1: [00:08:08] Well, I've seen the cartoon.
Speaker3: [00:08:09] Yes, that's what I'm talking about. And there's like a movie.
Speaker1: [00:08:13] Yes. Have you seen that one? I'm not the Disney version. Oh, no one is about the cartoon. Like when I was a kid. Oh, no. There's another one that has.
Speaker2: [00:08:23] I only know this. Oh, see. Oh, look at that. Look at that. Pooh bear stuck his hands in the
Speaker1: [00:08:36] Air for me where there's a guy right there. This hand out this camera right here. Now, right here. Take this one right there. OK, this is the only shot. Yes. So we had that little transition where she was able to have a conversation. Now we're
Speaker2: [00:08:51] Not
Speaker1: [00:08:52] Because I was putting on a glove, dipping into my little sugar. Yeah. And now we're doing couch.
Speaker3: [00:09:04] Oh, my God.
Speaker1: [00:09:08] Now, keep in mind, she is having sugar over full here. I am doing that in the upper. This would be the upper pussy area,
Speaker3: [00:09:17] The faux pas
Speaker1: [00:09:20] For all of you. You're actually doing super well, thank God. First Brazilian's to see my hands.
Speaker3: [00:09:39] I love those results. Oh, my God. I get a lollipop right now.
Speaker1: [00:09:49] I think we're gonna have a drink up at this thing. My God,
Speaker2: [00:09:52] Your lips are God.
Speaker3: [00:09:54] I don't even smoke. And I totally. Oh, my God.
Speaker1: [00:10:01] So are you the sugar? Yeah. It's the only time I have to dispose of it is when it fills with hair.
Speaker2: [00:10:06] Ok, hey,
Speaker1: [00:10:11] I'm still on one side. How about the other side. Yeah.
Speaker2: [00:10:13] Ok, so what's it feel like. Yeah.
Speaker3: [00:10:17] What's it feel like. I'm ok.
Speaker2: [00:10:21] Mostly it's about the first sensation.
Speaker3: [00:10:26] Like out, I
Speaker2: [00:10:30] Actually are prepared for the first, but I think you're prepared for the second one so quickly, like the flick and then the pull and then like that, you're like, whatever,
Speaker3: [00:10:40] Though, um, it's. I don't know how to describe it to my friend who's going to be holding hands like this.
Speaker1: [00:11:00] He just kind of cleaned some areas up. Everybody talked about when people come in sweaty. Yes. Like me, sugar doesn't like to stick as much as long as I'm in a powder room area. Absorb that moisture.
Speaker2: [00:11:13] Yeah, the moisture hydrate
Speaker3: [00:11:14] Is
Speaker2: [00:11:17] Ok. I'm trying to describe what it feels like. It's like. If you put a piece of duct tape on like a really sensitive part of you and you're like, shit, now I have to get it off and you're trying to do that thing where you like, should I just rip it or should I, like, take a little bit at a time?
Speaker3: [00:11:39] So it's a combination of both.
Speaker2: [00:11:42] It's like I'm going to like, rip it. But then she's like,
Speaker1: [00:11:50] Is that a good description of your description? Your glasses are fogging. Oh my God. Fogie.
Speaker2: [00:11:58] My head is fogging up, my glasses are fogging up.
Speaker1: [00:12:02] Is it worse or better than you expected?
Speaker2: [00:12:06] Better.
Speaker1: [00:12:07] Good. That's good. I mean,
Speaker2: [00:12:09] You're there's hope out there. Yes. I mean, and the ship has sailed on worrying about the fact that you're up and my business is down.
Speaker1: [00:12:19] So this is a combination of no screen cream, blood
Speaker3: [00:12:23] And lovely people. You I don't want to see. Oh, God. She's showing people after the treatment that some people love to see it. Yeah, well, I
Speaker1: [00:12:43] Know some people that have gone, but this is an example where I can't just use one sugar ball, but I will next time. So if you come in for maintenance, only one little ball, that one got full and then it makes it more difficult to spread.
Speaker3: [00:12:55] Mhm. And difficult Peopping.
Speaker2: [00:12:58] Oh my God.
Speaker3: [00:13:02] Oh my God. At this point. Want me to move the camera down there. Oh my
Speaker1: [00:13:11] God. I just thought you weren't lying about your hair color down there.
Speaker3: [00:13:15] Right. That's why
Speaker2: [00:13:18] You're breathing. Oh my God. I can feel like sweat going down my ass cheek.
Speaker3: [00:13:25] Correct. OK, you're going to dry, right. Yes.
Speaker1: [00:13:28] Yes, I am going to have to be on your side for between the two.
Speaker2: [00:13:32] All right. Wink, wink,
Speaker3: [00:13:36] Wink, wink. No Popping.
Speaker1: [00:13:39] Yeah, OK. All right. OK, now, this is going to be interesting. The one hand here, one hand here, one hand up there on hand appear perfect.
Speaker2: [00:13:57] What are you laughing at.
Speaker3: [00:14:04] Oh, God,
Speaker1: [00:14:08] This is a long hair
Speaker3: [00:14:09] Again. Oh yeah. Oh oh.
Speaker1: [00:14:13] Takes the long hair. Not fun. Not fun. Now do you appreciate why I use my hard work now.
Speaker2: [00:14:21] I feel like you're feeding me lines but it's true. Oh my god.
Speaker1: [00:14:24] Yeah. The hard wax makes it so much better
Speaker3: [00:14:27] And I'm sweating.
Speaker1: [00:14:31] That's why you wear t shirt.
Speaker2: [00:14:33] Yes. My gosh. Workout wear. Yeah. Oh sweaty. I've been in the entire Cobus.
Speaker3: [00:14:41] I did not break a sweat running to me like
Speaker1: [00:14:48] You're holding very well. You're doing amazing. Thank you. I'm good at holding taught well because you know how important it is.
Speaker2: [00:14:55] Well I know how important it is. It's what you do. When I try to pretend that I'm super skinny in the mirror, I'm like, OK, what would it look like if this wasn't here world?
Speaker1: [00:15:09] Oh, good for me right here. My hand is lifted it up again. We've got to clean
Speaker3: [00:15:16] Up the but
Speaker1: [00:15:22] Oh my goodness. Yes, I'm going back in and cleaning up the hairs that were left on the labia area.
Speaker3: [00:15:31] Thanks for the seats,
Speaker1: [00:15:34] Because I can't see me.
Speaker3: [00:15:36] No, they can't take a look
Speaker2: [00:15:41] At your hair super long. How do you not cut your hair stuck?
Speaker1: [00:15:44] Well, that's why you guys always see me at Topknot. So much more sense now. Yes. That's why my hair is the same every time I'm holding a I really don't want my hair in our business. Yeah, no,
Speaker3: [00:15:58] I think I'll take a. I don't know. The last time I listened to them. Oh gosh. Oh my God. Oh man.
Speaker1: [00:16:22] You're done. Really? Yeah. Because between the two is the easy part.
Speaker2: [00:16:26] Oh my God. I'm like I should be in like select Brazilian's and
Speaker1: [00:16:32] Like your hands where we just like and make sure we don't cover any hair, no hands, no hands clean. Everything looks good. Thank you. And remember, I give everyone a mirror afterwards and some people will look and some people like I don't want
Speaker2: [00:16:49] To see that. I mean, like,
Speaker3: [00:16:52] Yes,
Speaker2: [00:16:56] Everybody
Speaker1: [00:16:56] Should look. Yes. Because you're seeing all the hair is gone. You're seeing what your skin looks like.
Speaker2: [00:17:02] You remind yourself what you look like as a child.
Speaker1: [00:17:06] Ok, so you're going to be on that hip, on OK side. OK, bring this knee over there to lift your cheek for me.
Speaker3: [00:17:13] Ok, I need to move down a little, but maybe high. I could still see you on the camera. Oh no, I'm not worried about this hand.
Speaker1: [00:17:30] Yeah. Lift your whole bum up. Oh my
Speaker2: [00:17:33] God. Good job. Is that right? Yeah. OK, so here's what I'm doing. I'm lying on my side. I have my I'm lying on my left side.
Speaker1: [00:17:43] No, you're right.
Speaker2: [00:17:45] I'm lying on my right side. Oh hey.
Speaker3: [00:17:48] I bent
Speaker2: [00:17:50] All out of my butt here in the shower has
Speaker3: [00:17:52] Paid off
Speaker2: [00:17:56] Because I was testing. Do I have any hemorrhoids.
Speaker1: [00:17:58] No. No. Did you think you did?
Speaker2: [00:18:02] No.
Speaker1: [00:18:03] But you never know.
Speaker2: [00:18:05] I totally freaked out. OK, so I'm on my left side. I'm holding my butt cheek up and I'm doing a yoga pose with my knee is over my leg, but I'm still able to talk to you.
Speaker1: [00:18:18] This isn't that bad, but this is where people are going to fart. This is where they're going to do it. Uh, I,
Speaker2: [00:18:24] I made sure I did not have grapes gassy for me, Mexican. And I like the brand, the Brazilian. But seriously, there is like a 48 hour Brazilian diet.
Speaker3: [00:18:44] I'm doing
Speaker1: [00:18:45] Great. You're almost done. And the switch over and do the same thing on the other side.
Speaker3: [00:18:49] Ok, well for me, ok, ok.
Speaker1: [00:18:57] My thing is to see the back of your head out.
Speaker3: [00:19:04] It is
Speaker1: [00:19:06] Ok. Lifting cheek. Good job. Well usually people forget this position every time they have to remind them, every time they come out, even if they've been coming for years is leave out.
Speaker2: [00:19:18] I mean not the part where
Speaker3: [00:19:20] Keep like
Speaker1: [00:19:21] Old school Pinocchio's.
Speaker2: [00:19:23] Yeah. You know, I am I am the thinking that the dude did that was like the whole Rubenesque thing where she's lying on the couch and her roles
Speaker3: [00:19:35] Are in
Speaker2: [00:19:36] Full display, as they should be.
Speaker1: [00:19:38] Come on. Remember how you told them you're like I imagine myself as an older kind of Google. You used to feel that way.
Speaker2: [00:19:46] No, no,
Speaker3: [00:19:52] No, no.
Speaker1: [00:19:54] I love I think you're the very first one to ask me that.
Speaker3: [00:19:58] I don't know. I can't see
Speaker2: [00:20:02] Stacey. Yeah, you did it. I did it. You did it.
Speaker1: [00:20:05] I asked you to lie on your back. OK, now I have to give you the mirror so you can see. But now you would be a perfect candidate because it's nice and pink for the hydrogel mask. That in terms of character, I think that's an enhancement. Yes, you are correct. Back it up. A Igbos.
Speaker3: [00:20:24] Oh, my God. It's got.
Speaker1: [00:20:31] And tell them what you think your skin looks like. So you got all the little pinpoint, what does it look like?
Speaker2: [00:20:36] Ok, so it's looking great, but I'm afraid it
Speaker3: [00:20:43] Looks like when my kids were born, when my daughters were so I'm literally
Speaker2: [00:20:50] Regressing
Speaker3: [00:20:53] A little boy very everything. And there's no hair that I'm sure that there are people that think this is super sexy.
Speaker1: [00:21:10] Is it amazing? I'm going to spray with an antiseptic toner, then I'm going to give you a hot towel. Could you to wipe everything down. You don't forget your bum and I'm going to give you another one of those towelettes, right. To disinfect the area. OK, and then a cotton around. Now you
Speaker2: [00:21:27] Ask me to remember
Speaker1: [00:21:28] All of this. I put everything in order, so it's come easy for you.
Speaker2: [00:21:31] So first comes the Chona so that my skin is toned.
Speaker1: [00:21:37] Yes. Very good. Nice and cool.
Speaker2: [00:21:43] Oh, it's like having a little Indian spritz like Paris Hilton used to do in the 90s. Like I need
Speaker3: [00:21:50] Water. It was the
Speaker1: [00:21:53] Trend. So then I will have to access the Hopetown so that you look down here. Tella is right here. OK, and then there's your creamy revitalizing cream. OK, so you're going to go from hot. Tell it creamy. Everything is in order. Got it palpable. I'm so proud of you. Thank you.
Speaker3: [00:22:11] Oh thank you.
Speaker2: [00:22:16] Are we done. We're done. You can stop recording.
EP 19: curiousity killed this cat
EP19: Curiosity Killed this Cat TRANSCRIPT (Draft)
[00:00:00] Well, I did it. Welcome back to you, which means your cheeks, Brooke, has been between two cheeks for mine. I'm Stacy Heller. I am no longer a personal friend. Oh, my God. I got it done. And I survived. And I'm smiling, in fact. It was amazing. Good Brazilian, Brooke, so I've got like I am a magician. I mean, how perfect is that? So, first of all, totally fake. Looks real. You can get them on Amazon, not sponsored. OK, so let's build the team. You're smiling. It was not OK. I agree with Justin. Now, obviously, different people have different pain tolerances. So I am not going to judge or shame people that get it hurts or they get really upset. But honestly, I almost dread now the next thing that I dread in life is [00:01:00] a colonoscopy. And it's not actually like the act of it, it's the preparation. So it was not bad at all. I described it throughout the best that I could, the beginning with the hard wax it like lulled into a false sense of like, oh, like it was a little before the storm. It was a little kinky. Like, did you ever see that movie? Nine and a half weeks? I don't think so. It's an old movie. I think it was with Mickey Rourke. And like it's this like crazy movie where they have, like, sex all over the place.
[00:01:35] And there's a lot of, like, sex and food stuff. So I was like it was like having warm jelly put on my pubic area. Yeah. It's kind of weirdly like like, oh, OK. And then it was not anymore then it was like, yeah. Then it was red but but I can't help it like [00:02:00] the flick was fine and then like the pull pull. I think the worst part then is when you went from the hard wax because I had not trimmed because she says I don't trim. Yeah. I don't try. Right. And you didn't want to cut your clit again. Go back to Episode 17 for the reference. It is now forever a classic. And I wish I had asked you, like, should I trim? And you were like, no, like just leave it and do the full you'll get the full experience. So the hardbacks came first and then that took off the first layer of the longer hair, except for like the upper area that you did, the sugar that hurt actually the long hair because your hair was probably longer. Thank you. Yeah. It was that long, longer than a grain of rice, I'll tell you that. I was actually molded slowly and used a softer sugar like a medium soft sugar. There you go. It was not the size of a grain of rice.
[00:02:58] It was like when the rice grows [00:03:00] in the paddy and it's really long. That was mine. So yeah, that actually hurts. That was like a Hoak and then pinpoint bleeding. I had pinpoint bleeding and deep roots. That's right. I am much more grounded than people think I am. That's actually what I'm going to say now. Like the next time, like a psychic or someone's like, you know, you need to be more grounded. I'm gonna be like, do you know my pin point lead? Meaning that I have very deep roots love. How are your glasses? Oh my God. They were fogged the whole time. Yes and yes. You totally do sweat. I was worried about when you are staying taught. You did amazing though. Your hold was brilliant. Thank you. Learned a lot from our podcast. I felt prepared actually. I mean I do feel like you could benefit from. So back in the olden days when you would learn how to ballroom dance, they would have the feet on the floor so you knew where to step and everything. I feel like you need to have that [00:04:00] leg. But I put my hand. I put my hand where I want yours. Yeah, well, I was all numb and I didn't know where I was and I can't see over everything. I don't know where your hand is.
[00:04:10] I don't want to feel myself like I do not want to feel around down there to see where I had to. You do you do a good job? It's just some of us are a little hung up and then like the the little cleaning up stuff, that was nothing. No, nothing stings at the end now. Well, by the time you get to the end, you're like, OK, do you have the sensation where it feels like let the little tiny little bee stings after, like immediately removes and. Yeah, a little bit, a little bit mild. It's very, very it's like fire crotch, literally. Literally. OK, we learned about Native Americans in first grade, second grade. We all had to come up with a name. And the name that I got was Red Fox. And my classmates called me Fire [00:05:00] Face. OK, so, yeah, total fire crotch and then, OK, the part that you would think would be the worst, but not bad. She was. That's it. Yeah. Like honestly, I don't know if, like, by the time you're done with the horseshoe of pain, you're so numb to the pain that it's not a big deal, but really not bad. Yeah. Between the cheeks. Good with it and not as painful. No. I mean on little post. Yeah. So that was fun. So there's a there's a painting that I'm going to have to reference and we'll have to show a little picture of it or something.
[00:05:39] And it's this woman reclining on a couch and she's very like Rubenesque because Ruben was the painter that painted women like full bodied, robust, natural, you know, like the average size of Americans, which is a size 16, by the way. And so all of the the layers were undulating. Well, I think it [00:06:00] should be the cover for the episode. Brilliant. Oh, my gosh. See, she's so smart. So that was not bad at all. And then it was not fun when she showed me the sugar that had my hair and the blood and a little bit of those green cream. Peach color. Yeah. So have fun with that editing team. You're welcome. Oh my God. And then. And then post is fine. I am I am very excited to go pee like I don't have to go pee, but I want to see the whole pee experience that people talk about. And I wear the perfect pants. I'm wearing basically a modified hammer pound, a.k.a. a breathable jogger from Tajai available through there. Whatever line. Comando, I am Comando. I'm free balling like hips. Yeah, because I'm pretty good on the world. That's right. How does it feel right now? I [00:07:00] feel fine though. I mean, it doesn't know if, you know, your skin is in really good shape.
[00:07:06] Thank you. She said that I was not as dehydrated as I thought it was going to be. I it came out right after. So, I mean, all in all, again, I don't want to shame anybody about pain and their level of pain and everything. Maybe the fact that I've had four children and you had no skin cream, OK, and you took over Peopping. And I did like make sure that I had a lot to drink this week and not just gin and tonic and Diet Coke with ice, also water. So I think that helps. Like, you were truly set for success. I was set for success. And I mean, you were great because you talked to me through the whole thing and a couple of times that you just did it for, oh, one hundred percent. Are you kidding? I mean, it was a moment on camera. How was I not going to play it up? Because I was like I knew how much I was, remember? And when you were the squirrel, I was like, your play to up. It was my moment to shine. And [00:08:00] now my mom's pubis shine and tell them what this episode was called because. Oh, this is the family. Yeah. So last time it was Stacy shuts up and puts up, this time it was curiosity may have killed my cat.
[00:08:13] And guess what, my cat is purring. Yes it is fine. Do you think you'll do maintenance. One hundred percent of season two. Yes. Oh my gosh. A good candidate. I want to do the hydrogel Lévesque too, because we throw that jelly on there. Yeah. When did you get there. Because of the pin point. Yeah. And you just get more pink. This is good. Yeah. Yeah. It would calm it down. Well and we all need to calm down as Taylor Swift. Yeah it was, it was so much like the buildup is just monumental and it was really awesome. You did an awesome job. Thank you. I can relate. Thanks for sharing my peach. It was it was really truly it was great and great seeing your fans. [00:09:00] I kind of am. I'm all like Davis over the corner. They're like want know come on. You'll be like, oh I totally like before I came here today I totally was like, by the way, say goodbye to Hollywood and now I'm going to be like, say hello to Hollywood. And she does give you the mirror. And aside from my beginning misgivings, am I even going to be able to bend over to see because you kind of have to like do like a what do you call it? Like I IGBOS? Well, the frog was at the beginning, but then I actually had the butterfly pose.
[00:09:42] Well, fun. I just had to I had to lean over all of my stuff, my foobar. And so I saw it easy and it reminded me of a newborn baby. I've gone back in time. Yeah. My [00:10:00] inner child on. Are having a moment up. Thank you so much for joining us on this journey. Yes. Oh, my gosh, it's been a long, exciting journey. Oh, my gosh. She totally has. But but but wait. There is there is so much more. And we're going to talk about that in the next episode. There's going to be a season two because how do you not continue this? And I I'm excited. I we're going to talk about all kinds of things the next episode. And I'm I'm going to go to the bathroom and enjoy myself. So make sure that you are following along on Facebook, on Instagram. Go to our website between two cheek's dotcom. Also go to sweet behere skin there on Instagram. They're on Facebook booking appointments. Tell them Stacy sent you. And, you know, also check out the YouTube channel. Yes. [00:11:00] Because you'll be able to see what just happens, like not the full deal, but like. Yeah, so you got to watch it. Enjoy the next, you know, not next season. See you next time.

EP20: Butt Wait….(there’s more)! transcript (Draft)
Speaker1: [00:00:01] Welcome back to Between Two Cheeks. This is actually a big moment. This is the end of Season one, Episode 20, I believe. Oh, so I'm Stacy Heller. I was Brazillian curious. I'm still here. This is Brooke Kennedy. She is the owner of Suite B Hair and Skin Lounge. Yes, I am. It's been a fun season. Thank you so much. Oh, my gosh. You're can out of it. Well, and it's not over. But wait, there's more. We're going to be doing a season too much. So much more. We realize that there is so much more to hair to sweep hair and get lounge. And we couldn't just end with what Brook does. There is a whole team that works with Brook that does facials and hair and like all that, lashes and tanning and I spray tanning. Here's the deal. If I had to get a Brazilian, I figure I should get the full meal deal. She deserves that, I don't deserve that. So we're going to talk a little bit about that towards the end of the episode, but we also well, I also realized that doctors not talk about the fact that she is a winner and she is very humble. So I want to ask you about the skin games.
Speaker2: [00:01:24] Yes, so I competed in the twenty eighteen and twenty twenty skin games, and what that is, is a chance for us as citizens to go and show off our amazing skills. So we do an eight week case study and Hoser, who is on our last episode, she was actually my case study for the first year and I placed as a top ten finalist.
Speaker1: [00:01:48] It's amazing what was the category?
Speaker2: [00:01:50] It was the holistic category. OK, so treene individual mind, body, spirit and emotions. So we did. While we are amazing, we were talking about supplements as well as referring to massage therapy and chiropractic care. And I did eight weeks worth of DMK enzyme therapy
Speaker1: [00:02:10] And that's an amazing product.
Speaker2: [00:02:11] So we did really, really well. Her face is amazing. So there you can check out this week the parents give my own YouTube channel and it has the case study there. So my dad is a Titan finalist. Yay us when we were in Vegas. So it was back when it was live Fields's and then the case study. Four thousand. Twenty, obviously, during covid, so my fabulous husband,
Speaker1: [00:02:36] Justin, guess
Speaker2: [00:02:38] Who is on a previous episode, if you want to check them out, but he was my case. I such a good work because I covered everything with clothes while we were close for eighty three days. He's like, honey, I will do this.
Speaker1: [00:02:49] I love it. That is why his episode is called Just in case, because I need a model just in case. He was actually
Speaker2: [00:02:56] I had entered the last category, the waxing category as well as the holistic category. OK in twenty twenty and he was the half like model who was. So he's an amazing husband, very fortunate. What are the other like now.
Speaker1: [00:03:13] We know make lower leg. Right. I do that
Speaker2: [00:03:23] Anyway. So we were forced to, I took first place so
Speaker1: [00:03:26] I really did.
Speaker2: [00:03:27] And then 20 holistic player of the year, which is very exciting, is I'm actually an award winning esthetician. Yes, she is. I love skin revision as much as I love being a Brazilian sugarcane specialist. So yes, there is more to me. I do skin care as well. Yes. And I do. I have an incredible portfolio of some amazing results. Treen rosacea and aging and acne and
Speaker1: [00:03:51] All sorts of things. It's amazing. And the work that you do with oncology, that's an amazing thing. And that's something that we're going to talk about more in season two.
Speaker2: [00:04:00] And I want to have a nonprofit one day with a little bit more time. That's my passion project. So for people to be able to come here and receive much needed treatments,
Speaker1: [00:04:11] I mean, that is an amazing thing. So it'll happen. It will happen now for twenty twenty one. Is there a skin game again?
Speaker2: [00:04:19] There is. And I have entered age management not doing holistic again because already one so
Speaker1: [00:04:25] My just got dropped. I think we got a winner
Speaker2: [00:04:29] And I entered compromise skin as well as acne. So we'll see how that can get done. I was a bit ambitious but
Speaker1: [00:04:37] Well I'm doing a selfie
Speaker2: [00:04:38] Category as well because I'm horrible about doing things for myself and during covered I a game twenty to twenty five pounds. So I just need to get my ass in gear and do a little bit of self care and work on my own skin, because as you all know, I'm, I'm always naked skin as in so I don't have makeup, I wear mascara and then have a glass.
Speaker1: [00:04:58] It's true. She totally came here and put on the glass.
Speaker2: [00:05:02] I had Stacy Harris that color actually.
Speaker1: [00:05:04] Yeah. Looks good. Doesn't it's not hot. No. I think that that's an amazing thing. I love the selfie one. So you're going to take care of yourself
Speaker2: [00:05:13] A four week challenge versus eight weeks and we have to the end of the year a case
Speaker1: [00:05:18] Studies, OK, it's going to be in Florida. Oh, I don't have a problem with the word I do like. Why do you take only half the time for yourself that you take for other people?
Speaker2: [00:05:27] This is a question. It's just a quick category. And there are a lot of entries because it's completely remote. You can do an edited version. It's not the big awards, but the reason why I entered so many categories is they have an esthetician of the year and you have to enter at least three categories. And whoever scores the top, then those three wins ten thousand.
Speaker1: [00:05:50] Who votes?
Speaker2: [00:05:51] There's a panel of judges, so you're based on your case study notes, which are intense, like you're listing everything from what used ingredients, modalities, all of that. There's an interview and then there's the submission
Speaker1: [00:06:05] From the videos. Wow. And the videos you have on the YouTube channel. Yes.
Speaker2: [00:06:08] Examples, case studies. Justin's on there. We did some really cool things with Michael.
Speaker1: [00:06:12] Is there a swimsuit portion where you can show off your Brazillian,
Speaker2: [00:06:18] As I did hear, that they're going to have a sugaring category
Speaker1: [00:06:23] About times.
Speaker2: [00:06:24] I'm really excited so of entering that until
Speaker1: [00:06:27] Naturally I get it naturally. That is awesome. Well, congratulations. So if you happen to be local to the Seattle area, then you definitely want to come to sweet here. It's good not just to use your services, but this winner is also training all of our institutions and you are really selective about who you have come and work with you.
Speaker2: [00:06:52] Yeah, and we have an amazing team, so I'm excited to have them each come on in season two.
Speaker1: [00:06:58] So let's talk about that. So there are, as I mentioned at the top of the episode, there are a ton of things that sweet B Herron's get. I mean, first of all, it's hair and skin. And it's not just the hair in your pelvic region on that skin. C, it's all of your hair and all of your skin. So facials, you've got all different kinds of facials, extractions, which I keep saying the first and only time I ever had an extraction. I swear the person to blackheads for my uterus, like it was so deep, it was so painful, it was awful.
Speaker2: [00:07:30] And the adventures of continue. So she will be receiving these treatments and reporting back.
Speaker1: [00:07:36] Oh, I'm hoping that that one goes better. But the anti aging. So maybe in season two, halfway through I will look 12 just like my pelvic area and then also lashes.
Speaker2: [00:07:52] Yes. So we do classic eyelash extensions, which is application of one synthetic polyester fiber thread to one of your natural lashes. So we specialize in a natural, beautiful enhancement to the
Speaker1: [00:08:04] Eyes that may make me want to get contacts. Maybe because otherwise I'm going to have to put on my glasses so that
Speaker2: [00:08:14] People will ask and Justin goes, but you're just like, good. You don't know if they're real or fake. It's pretty good also just fine, but if people want volume lashes or a hybrid, then we refer out. I like your lashes. I like the way that
Speaker1: [00:08:30] When I look at your eyes, they have this like. That's just Musker. Wow. Oh, Lee, you don't know what. You just never seem to care only for this you put on mascara. OK, so that's something new and then
Speaker2: [00:08:56] My lashes, so I tip my eyebrows. I don't do this because I can't do it all myself. So remember, I'm a I do everything myself, so I can't perform my own life.
Speaker1: [00:09:06] So as you get older, do your lashes lighten up like you know how you like your hair raised, right. You lose pigment in your hair basically, or whatever.
Speaker2: [00:09:13] I would say brows more often have gray hairs than lashes. Sometimes I have a few, but a lot of people keep their color. OK. And what
Speaker1: [00:09:22] About you? A certain point of the this, but it turns gray. It does. Another reason to get it taken off. Well, who would have thought, OK, continue to learn more. We do that. No, we're actually not going to stop talking about Brazilian's and sugaring and waxing and all of that, because there are so many things that we as we were wrapping up season one, we realized that we didn't cover.
Speaker2: [00:09:46] Oh, yeah, there's lots
Speaker1: [00:09:47] Much to uncover. Also, there is the area that we sit in is where there is hair that's done
Speaker2: [00:09:55] And so on hair services. And I love that we focus on natural products. We serve as pure color crystalline finish. Does it have the PPD? Does it have the ammonia? And in fact, when she does my hair, she uses an enzyme lightener versus bleach. OK, I don't get a ton of breakage. My hair when you're brushing and afterwards is not just hair coming out. So it makes my hair feel I haven't had my hair done in six months. Wow. Almost. Well, it November 3rd last time I did it a little bit behind.
Speaker1: [00:10:24] A little busy, we're a little busy. Yeah, a little bit
Speaker2: [00:10:28] Keeps looking at me. We need to do your hair.
Speaker1: [00:10:31] Don't worry about it. Beautiful boyars. What do they say about the like the cobbler's children always want us to get their shoes. Yeah. So they also spray tanning. Yes, we do. I always wondered what the shower in the back is like. What goes on
Speaker2: [00:10:47] Here. Yes. So we have our spray tan of blob's. We use the silk solution. So it's a hydrating, anti aging, quick drying rapid tan that we use, which is fabulous. That produces a beautiful golden color that everyone loves. The girls are like you shouldn't experience more often because I have a spray tan all the time. We sell a lot of spray dance.
Speaker1: [00:11:07] Oh, I'll bet I can't do it myself.
Speaker2: [00:11:10] But Justin knows how to spray tan. Doesn't he know how to do amazing?
Speaker1: [00:11:15] He has I have a feeling by the time the end of season two wraps up, I am going to look like a Real Housewife of Seattle, right? It could be a thing. I got a tan with lashes, my blackheads, would
Speaker2: [00:11:30] You light therapy 20 years longer and maybe some microdata. OK, that doesn't sound good. We're going to cover all.
Speaker1: [00:11:39] We are going to uncover all of it, just like we uncovered everything you need to know about Brazilian's. So and we'll also talk more about products and who knows, maybe we'll start to have Mirch for between two jeeps. Yes, that could be a thing
Speaker2: [00:11:54] I really want. Don't cut the clip.
Speaker1: [00:11:59] If you don't know what that's a reference to, go check out the spectacles on the Spectacle episode, episode seven today, I believe. I believe it was Episode 17, Mizzy. It was really over there. And I was Lorella. Oh, my God.
